At J. Thompson gemstones are the centerpiece.

I design and create modern minimalist jewelry one piece and one stone at a time, working with high quality colored gemstones and thoughtfully curated color combinations. The aesthetic is primarily modern, with subtle influences that occasionally lean classic and vintage.

Most designs are produced in sterling silver to keep the metal visually understated and the investment centered in the gemstones themselves. This approach allows the focus to remain on exceptional stones while maintaining accessibility and keeping cost low without compromising quality.

These pieces are created to be worn, enjoyed, and collected.

When a design becomes an heirloom, it can be recreated by us in gold or platinum, whether now or whenever the moment feels right.
